Situated behind Lewes railway station by the River Ouse is a much loved nature reserve dedicated to ecology and conservation. This year they are celebrating their thirtieth anniversary with a FREE festival.There will be live music, exhibitions, talks, guided walks, bug hunts and nature trails. Don’t forget to wander into the trees to watch the Wishworks puppet theatre, it’s always a fun treat. There will also be food stalls, information and craft activities for the kids.
